eSynch to Use Quova's Latest Version of GeoPoint in MediaOffice

SANTA ANA, Calif., July 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- eSynch Corp. (OTCBB:ESYN), a leader in the development and distribution of digital rights management solutions for audio and video content, has teamed with Quova, Inc. of Mountain View to integrate GeoPoint(tm) Service into their next generation DRM solution, known as MediaOffice. MediaOffice uses Microsoft's(r) DRM encryption technology with eSynch's browser-based content control technology to protect and make available for sale entertainment, product training, and other valuable video content.

The addition of Quova's GeoPoint Services to MediaOffice will further increase its features and benefits. Quova's GeoPoint Service determines the location of Internet users by mapping the Internet infrastructure of over 4 billion IP addresses. GeoPoint is completely privacy-compliant, as it does not use cookies, profiles, registration data, click-stream data or any other means to identify or track individuals. The service, which provides location information as detailed as the user's city, serves up the country-level information requested by Web site owners and content managers.

"Adding Quova's GeoPoint Service to eSynch's technology further advances our complete, end-to-end DRM solution. This technology will supply content owners vital end user information which will allow for the serving of customized content tailored to the geography of each site visitor and will ensure that Web users stay within the distribution territory of a specific digital asset," said Dick Hutt, VP of eSynch. "Quova's innovative technology will enable our clients to make informed decisions that directly impact the bottom line."
