Exclusive License Agreement to Offer Content Filtering and Tracking Software for All of Canada Signed

KELOWNA, B.C., July 16, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Secure Enterprise Solutions Inc. (OTCBB:SETP) (the "Company" or "SETP") is pleased to announce that Edgetech Services Inc. (Edgetech) has signed a license agreement with Security Software Systems (SSSI) that grants an exclusive license to Edgetech to sell SSS products across Canada.

SSSI (www.securitysoft.com) has developed a full line of products that filter, block and monitor Internet use and access with specialized products designed for four different sets of needs: Corporate; Criminal Justice; Education; and Home.

"We're excited about this agreement that helps us build our worldwide presence in the security software market," says Dan Jude, president of Security Software Systems. "Our products combined with Edgetech's market penetration enables us to provide our applications to additional corporations, schools and individual consumers. With so many people online, monitoring, blocking and filtering applications are not a luxury, but a necessity," he continues. "This new agreement allows more companies to protect themselves from potential leaks of confidential information and other risks and, for consumers and school systems, protect and save lives."

According to Computerworld, May 6, 2002, a leading U.S. industrial company "has deployed an application from Security Software Systems ... and recently ordered its IT department to crack down on non-business-related computer use."

Oprah Winfrey has devoted a television show to the topic of online child stalkers wherein SSSI products were featured. Oprah said, "If you are a parent, this is a show you need to watch with your child because it could save your child's life. I can't begin to count how many times we've warned children about the dangers of talking to strangers ... despite that, every day, tens of millions of children are inviting strangers into their homes just by going online."

SSSI and its products have also been featured within the New York Times and CNN.com and are widely acknowledged as best-of-breed in their industry.

Edgetech Co-Founder Tae Ho Kim said, "This exclusive agreement helps us build a strong OEM market in Canada by fulfilling a compelling need. Our close relationship with Security Software Systems opens exciting opportunities for both our companies. This family of products fills a void in the marketplace: Corporations, government and concerned parents can now monitor and even block unacceptable Internet usage such as pornography, violent emails and predators. We have already received excellent feedback from our existing clients and from potential resellers who are anxious to use this leading suite of products."

SETP believes it will be able to strengthen its existing corporate relationships and revenues streams as a result of this new exclusive license.

SETP has previously announced the acquisition of Edgetech towards which both companies are finalizing all requirements. This transaction is expected to close soon.

Both SETP and Edgetech continue to discuss and negotiate additional partnering, acquisition, and revenue generating opportunities. There can be no assurance of the successful completion of these discussions and additional news will be released as available.
