Copenhagen Airports A/S: Traffic, July 2002 and Cargo June 2002; In July 2002 the Number of International Scheduled Passengers is Unchanged Compared to July 2001


COPENHAGEN, Denmark, Aug. 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- In July 2002 the total number of passengers shows a decrease of 1.1% compared to the same month in 2001. The development for the first seven months of 2002 shows a decrease of 0.9% compared to the same period last year.

In the month of July 2002 the number of international scheduled passengers is unchanged compared to July 2001. The accumulated figure of the first seven months of 2002 shows that international scheduled passengers has increased by 1.5% compared to the same period last year.

In July 2002 the number of international charter passengers decreased by 3.2%. The accumulated figure of the first seven months of 2002 shows that international charter passengers has decreased by 17.0% compared to 2001.

In the month of July 2002 the number of domestic passengers decreased by 10.4%. The accumulated figure of the first seven months of 2002 shows a decrease of 8.6% compared to the same period last year. In July 2002 the total number of takeoffs and landings has decreased by 8.8%, while the tonnage shows a decrease by 6.7%. The accumulated figure of the first seven months of 2002 shows that takeoffs and landings decreased by 10.3% while the tonnage decreased by 6.6%.
