eGames Signs Agreement with Auxiliary Power to Publish Demolition `Derby & Figure 8 Race'

Metal-Crunching, Smoke-Spewing Demolition Derby Game for the PC to Add Fresh But Familiar Fun to the Driving Game Genre

LANGHORNE, Pa., Aug. 7, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- eGames Inc. (OTCBB:EGAM), a publisher of consumer entertainment PC software games, announced today that it has signed a licensing agreement with Auxiliary Power, Inc. to publish their driving/racing game, Demolition Derby & Figure 8 Race(tm).

"A truly authentic demolition derby game for the PC, `Demolition Derby & Figure 8 Race' features the best part of any racing game -- the crashes!" commented Jerry Klein, President and CEO of eGames. "Rendered in full 3D and designed with the aid of actual demolition derby drivers and officials, this is as close as it gets to the real thing."

The game also features the insane "Figure 8 Race," where drivers speed headlong into each other around a figure 8 track. The game has death-defying head on racing, metal crushing impacts and smoke spewing wrecks, without the gore and violence seen in many of today's games.

`Demolition Derby & Figure 8 Race' boasts three levels of action: local, regional and national, which are progressively unlocked as the game player advances. It takes a mix of strategy and brute force to defeat the ruthless artificial intelligence of the other drivers to win the nationals, and the title of Derby King. The individual tracks vary from small dirt pens to huge paved arenas, each having their own strategy based on their size and layout. There are 50 cars to choose from, each with their own paint job and even their own characteristics in handling.

The game's many features include: 50 unique cars and AI drivers to compete against, each with their own unique driving style; 11 different car body styles including compact, full size, station wagons and a hearse; 9 different tracks; 21 different events; full damage modeling in which cars dent where you hit them; realistic physics to make the cars drive like real cars; 4 difficulty settings that will challenge every skill level; supports up to 8 player multiplayer games powered by GameSpy(tm) Arcade; full steering wheel support including force feedback; replay mode to record an event to watch later; engines that smoke, steam, stall and backfire; multiple player profiles allowing different people to have different settings on the same machine; online manual, tutorial and instructional video featuring actual demolition derby drivers and much more.

`Demolition Derby & Figure 8 Race' is scheduled to ship in September 2002, in time for this year's holiday season, and will have a suggested retail price of $19.99. The product will be published under the OuterBound Games(tm) brand, eGames' high-end gaming brand.
