HERNDON, Va., Aug. 13, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Northrop Grumman Corporation (NYSE:NOC) will provide a broad range of information technology (IT) services to assist the U.S. Joint Forces Command (USJFCOM) with future requirements.

The five-year, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract has a base year value of $5.3 million and a total potential value of $28.3 million to Northrop Grumman's Information Technology (IT) sector, if the four one-year options are exercised. Work on the USJFCOM program will be performed at the command's facilities in Norfolk and Suffolk, Va.

Northrop Grumman IT will provide business process engineering and reengineering, activity-based cost (ABC) analysis, technical support for technology insertion, virtual information systems support, knowledge and information management, strategic planning and subject matter expertise for USJFCOM.
