Carlsberg Engages IR-Manager


VALBY, Denmark, Aug. 30, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- As of December 1 this year, Carlsberg A/S has engaged Mikael Bo Larsen, 37 years and Master of Commerce as IR-manager. He will be responsible for all the Carlsberg Group's investor relations activities and thus a major part of his job will include Carlsberg Breweries.

Mikael Bo Larsen has a wide experience from the financial sector. His previous job was department manager at Danske Capital where he was responsible for i.e. investment strategies and management of a total global portfolio of shares. Prior to that he was head of equity research at BG Bank, head of equities at PFA Pension and vice president of Forstaedernes Bank's securities department.

Mikael Bo Larsen changes to Carlsberg because he finds it an exciting company and believes that the job as IR-manager will pose new major challenges.
