Defense and Homeland Security Applications Open New Markets for AdZone Research

An Internet Radio Series Featuring Interviews with CEO Charles Cardona by IPOdesktop.com

LOS ANGELES, Sept. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- IPOdesktop.com has begun a new Internet radio series: "Defense and Homeland Security Applications Open New Markets for AdZone Research" (OTCBB:ADZR), featuring Charles A Cardona III, the company's Chairman and CEO. Based in Riverhead, New York, AdZone specializes in automated retrieval, classification, analysis and delivery of worldwide Internet data for global defense as well as media metrics.

Listeners can access the program by clicking on RealAudio: http://gaskinsco.com/adzr.ram or Windows Media at: http://gaskinsco.com/adzr.asx.

During the program, Cardona explains that AdZone's primary mission is Internet tracking and monitoring, mostly for advertising spending, as well as Internet surveillance for Homeland Security and national defense considerations.

AdZone tracks Internet advertising revenue from banners, text ads, keyword, links, buttons, pop-ups and hover texts. Its Global Defense Group provides tracking and monitoring information on the Internet focused on anti-terrorism intelligence.

The company's technology, Cardona notes, enables it to monitor and track the Internet for virtually all types of activity. Currently it tracks Internet sites in more than 30 different countries. Actual results can range from short-term postings to what are called "hidden in plain sight" links, modified segments in graphics or sound files, and unauthorized additional scripting in such areas as text-based headers. More than 500,000 sites are currently monitored, and this is scalable to enable the company to cover more than 30 million Web sites -- a major segment of the entire Internet.

Primary customers, the CEO noted, are major advertisers, investment houses and financial news services. Following the events of September 11, 2001, AdZone has also issued proposals related to Homeland Security and other related defense-based projects at both federal and state levels. In July, the company formed a strategic relationship with Raytheon (NYSE:RTN) in the form of a systems integrator agreement for Internet monitoring technology related to Homeland Security.
