Teleca and C.N.S Systems Sign Framework Agreement

MALMO, Sweden, Sept. 4, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Teleca has signed an exclusive framework agreement with C.N.S. Systems, a key developer of communications, navigation and surveillance systems for the commercial aviation, merchant marine and the land market.

The framework agreement constitutes a deepening of the established relationship that exists between C.N.S. Systems and Teleca. The consulting assignments cover systems, software and electronics development and testing. The agreement is valid through 2004.

The agreement gives C.N.S. Systems access to Teleca's collective expertise within system development.

"With this cooperation agreement, we can increase the number of applications available to our customers," said Stefan Nilsson, CEO of C.N.S Systems. "By letting a third-party company provide their expertise and resources, we can cut costs as well as time-to-market - all with the aim of maximizing the benefits to our customers."

"As a supplier, we are pleased to have C.N.S. Systems' continued confidence. It is an important confirmation of our close and good relationship," said Jorgen Kleist, Regional Manager of Teleca's Linkoping operations. Teleca will continue to offer its expertise to C.N.S. Systems throughout the entire development chain; from advanced systems analysis to total undertakings, including development, maintenance and specialist competence in system and application development."
