ESPOO, Finland, Sept. 9, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- TietoEnator Resource Management now releases a new version of Persona HR, a TietoEnator solution within the HR area (Human Resources). The new version contains functionalities that to a large extent will ease the work for personnel development, personnel planning and personnel administration. Both line managers and co-workers will have opportunities for greater personal influence in the HR work.
Persona HR is today in use with more than 250 large companies throughout Europe. The new version of the solution offers, for example, individual co-workers greater opportunities to register themselves and follow up personal information in the system. This gives both a greater understanding for and insight into HR work and improves participation.
Line managers will also have new tools with which to develop their own personnel. Since the employees will have access to more information in the new solution, line managers and HR personnel can concentrate on development and planning matters.

This means that less time is available for personnel and organizational development. Persona HR is a part of TietoEnator Resource Management's personnel system concept, Persona. This also includes, for example, salaries and time reporting.
