STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Oct. 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- In accordance with the letter of intent announced earlier, Skanska has completed the acquisition of Yeager Construction Company -- a civil engineering firm based in southern California.
Yeager Skanska is consolidated in Skanska's results as of September 1, 2002.
The final purchase price amounts to USD 48 M, approximately SEK 450 M.
Yeager Skanska operates as a unit within Skanska USA Civil, which as a result of the acquisition now gains a nationwide footprint in the U.S. infrastructure market.
