LOS ANGELES, Oct. 3, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Direct Response Financial Services, Inc. (OTCBB:DRFL) today announced that through Direct Card Services, LLC, partially owned by DRFL, it had reached agreement with Infomercial Monitoring Services, Inc., of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania ("IMS"), to handle credit card processing referred by IMS.

Under the agreement with IMS, Direct Card Services will provide card processing capabilities to IMS clients and other IMS referred direct response related marketing companies. Direct Card Services will offer card processing, point of sale devices, small business membership packages, and stored value card technologies to IMS clients and other referred direct response marketing companies.

IMS is the nation's premier reporting service for the direct response industry. IMS provides daily, weekly and monthly reports on infomercial activity. IMS has one of the largest databases of direct response and infomercial videos in the world.
