Tib's Grill Brings Flavorful Louisiana Dining to Atlanta

The Bayou State Meets Buckhead in Early December

ATLANTA, Oct. 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Laissez les bon temps rouler -- let the good times roll! Tib's Grill(tm) is coming to Atlanta's renowned Buckhead area, bringing food, flavor and fun in a way only folks from Louisiana can. Set to open in early December, Tib's Grill will anchor the new Alexan Building at the corner of Grandview and Pharr Roads. Executive Chef R. L. Holmes has moved to Atlanta from New Orleans to bring the unrivaled Louisiana flavors, service, style and decorum to this new casual restaurant.

Tib's Grill's menu demonstrates Chef Holmes' passion for the true taste of traditional Louisiana cuisine with an innovative twist. Authentic fare like gumbos, crawfish, poultry, grilled seafood and pasta with unique sauces are among the menu highlights. Chef Holmes' personal goal is to spread his knowledge and love of the time-honored food from Louisiana to Atlanta.

"Every guest will have a customized experience at Tib's Grill," says Randy Brashier, general manager and concept director of the restaurant. "We want people to come back time and time again to try something different on the menu or sit in a different environment."

The host determines whether the guest is interested in seating in The Courtyard, The Bar, The Dining Room, The Backroom, The Festival Room, or in taking food home, i.e., "To Geaux."

- The Courtyard celebrates the importance of the grand entrances found in the Garden District of New Orleans. A cavernous arcade with massive light fixtures, spinning fans, a fountain and doors that open to the bar delivers a romantic experience with outdoors comfort.

- The Bar recognizes the liveliness of Louisiana heritage music and unique cocktails that generate a true New Orleans feel.

- The Dining Room offers the more traditional dining experience reminiscent of a classic New Orleans restaurant in the French Quarter with everything from tables for two to large booths for bigger groups.

- The Back Room is a private room where the customer may enjoy a more secluded dining experience or can be booked for groups or meetings.

- The Festival Room pays tribute to the wonderful heritage of Louisiana festivals with a seasonal, communal menu and experience. Colored string lights adorn the room and groups may sit together at long tables. Guests enjoy a special menu featuring crawfish boils, oyster shucks, peel-and-eat shrimp, and big bowls of Jambalaya, gumbo and red beans and rice.

- For those who want to enjoy the food experience at Tib's Grill but are on the go, To Geaux provides takeout that is unsurpassed.
