GOTEBORG, Sweden, Nov. 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- In the face of strong competition, Semcon (Stockholm:SEMC) has won the contract for Boverket's IT-environment operations. The agreement will run for three years with the option for Boverket to extend the agreement for a further two years.
"Semcon has once again submitted the most favourable offer," said Stefan Norrman, IT Strategist at Boverket.
The assignment is a full-coverage commitment in which Semcon is in charge of all IT operations and user support for a fixed monthly cost. Semcon will handle support for around twenty servers and about 160 users. The order is estimated to be worth SEK 8.5 million for the first three years.
