Do Summer Romances Last?; New Novel Tells the Story of a Marriage Doomed From the Start

PLYMOUTH, Ohio, Nov. 19, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- What would you do if you find out that your seemingly perfect marriage turns out to be a cruel joke? Author Dee Ora Lee writes an extraordinary tale of a failed marriage haunted by secrets, accidents, mystery, romance and how two people separated by fate fight the odds to give their love another chance in her novel, "Just for the Summer" (now available through 1stBooks Library).

Barely at the peak of their honeymoon, newlyweds Donovan and Deora are forced to return home upon hearing of the sudden death of Donovan's father. Shortly after returning home, Deora overhears a conversation that reveals a long-hidden deception that completely shatters her idyllic world. Determined to go on with her life, she flees from her husband when he is called away on a business trip, taking her secrets with her.

What follows is a thrilling confrontation between Donovan and Deora, when, after five years, they come face-to-face again in an unexpected time and place. Now that they have their own lives, will they fight for the love that they once had for each other or will they let their past sabotage their love again?
