Are You Quantum or Newtonian Minded? -- New Book Explores the Link Between Science and Spirituality

CHANDLER, Ariz., Nov. 25, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- How did life begin and where it is going? These are questions most kids ask but often give up finding the answers as they grow older. Author Locksley Augustus Christian, in his groundbreaking book, "I Am Science, Quantum/Newtonian" (now available through 1stBooks Library) insists man must continue to search for the elusive truth.

"The contents of this book resulted from my desire to create a bumper sticker, stating: 'Are you Quantum or Newtonian minded?' thus, simply asking the reader if their minds are open to the unseen possibilities or simply restricted to believing only what was technologically provable or theoretically possible," Christian elaborates.

"I Am Science, Quantum/Newtonian" provides detailed information on cutting-edge theories about science and religion -- two conflicting elements that for centuries have influenced man's quest for life's meaning. Drawing on impressive sources from the field of philosophy, science, theology and ancient civilization, Christian elicits that there is a missing link between science and spirituality. He calls this the "Q-diagram" or "Qgram." "The potential information that can be extracted from this diagram are simply, too astronomical," Christian writes, "I am certain that many individuals will contribute to its further understanding."

To further explain his revolutionary idea, Christian demonstrates the relationship between "Qgram" (the combined result of his Quantum and Newtonian concepts) and certain philosophical or mystical practices. He says the "Qgram" appears to be the completion of different attempts to create a grand diagram (Yantra or the Kabbalah tree) that represents the blueprint or geometry of creation.

Locksley Augustus Christian holds a degree in electronics, but his knowledge goes far beyond consumer electronics. He has spent many years studying ancient civilizations and cultures, and observing current scientific developments. He considers "I Am Science, Quantum/Newtonian" as the culmination of his longtime goal to create and contribute to humanity's spiritual growth.
