Stockwinners Option Report for November 26

AUSTIN, Texas, Nov. 26, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- The following is an investment opinion issued by Stockwinners.com. Option trading was brisk on Tuesday, as traders took longer-term positions in the market. Most of the action was on the bullish side.

In a move reported by Stockwinners.com ActiveTraders editors, an early investor sold 1,000 contracts of J.D. Edwards (NASDAQ:JDEC) January $10 call options. That player expected shares of the software firm to stay flat, or head lower. Elsewhere, the ActiveTraders page reported call purchases by a trader with an opinion on Concord EFS (NYSE:CE). That participant bought 3,000 contracts of CE December $12.50 calls, expecting the stock to head up.

Another bullish investor purchased 11,000 contracts of EMC Corporation (NYSE:EMC) July $7.50 call options, looking for longer-term improvement in shares of that storage heavyweight. Elsewhere, yet another forward-looking bullish participant bought 5,000 contracts of Cablevision Systems (NYSE:CVC) March $17.50 calls.
