Leaving Neverland -- Ready for a Thriller of a Book?

BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Dec. 2, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- People want to know, "What is Michael Jackson really like?" Robert Wegner knows. He answers, "Get my book and find out."

And, guess what? You can get it today. After having to wait five years, per a legal agreement between Wegner and Michael Jackson, MJJ Productions and Neverland Valley Ranch, Wegner lays it all on the line in his book, "My Three Years Working For Michael Jackson" (now available through 1stbooks Library).

From Liz Taylor's wedding, Oprah Winfrey's interview and the fateful day the search warrant was issued by the Los Angeles Police Department, Wegner was there through it all. Wegner's book focuses on the facts, during his term of employment with the "Prince of Pop."

Wegner states that he has tried to be as objective as possible discussing the delicate matters that surround the mystique of the Gloved One.

At the same, he has written in a style that, for the reader, is spelled out loosely enough; they're able to make up their own minds, in reference Jackson's life and activities, especially concerning the child molestation accusations.

Robert Wegner was a Beverly Hills Police Officer for five years. He spent some time in the U.S. Army shortly after high school. A few years later, he attended Santa Monica City College, obtaining an associate's degree in criminal justice. From there, he enrolled at Pepperdine University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business management.
