Nokia One Connectivity Service Chosen by Fujitsu Invia for Their Pocket Office Solution

Fujitsu Invia has chosen Nokia One Mobile Connectivity Service to expand the messaging portion of their Pocket Office solution for end customers. The Nokia One Mobile Connectivity Service is an effective means of connecting employees to desktop corporate information. The Pocket Office concept covers many components and Nokia One will complement the Provia services Fujitsu Invia already offers to corporate customers.

Nokia One delivers anytime, anywhere, secure access to corporate email, calendar, employee directory, and other corporate applications using a mobile phone, PDA, PC or fixed-line phone. With a pay-as-you-use model, Nokia One’s return on investment is quickly achieved by increased productivity among employees, as well as between employees and customers. Nokia One gives the mobile workforce the means to fill in time gaps, eliminate “out-of-office” processing delays and react quickly to critical information.
Fujitsu Invia´s Pocket Office is an information technology solution which fills the need for multi-channel, secure access to corporate applications. Fujitsu Invia is the first in the market to offer such a comprehensive solution to their customers.

“Companies of all sizes cannot ignore the benefits of mobilizing key business applications,” says Gerhard Romen, Head of Sales and Marketing, Nokia Ventures Organization. “Mobile access to applications that convey time-sensitive information can improve real-time service efficiency and accuracy. We are pleased that Fujitsu Invia has chosen the Nokia One service for their end customers after a successful in-house testing with their own employees.”

“Fujitsu Invia wants to be the pacesetter with new technology services by offering secure, multi-channel and high availability solutions that can be accessed regardless of time and space. Largely due to our longstanding relationship with Nokia, we have been able to reach this objective by incorporating Nokia One into our services,” says Mr. Antti Kytömäki, Director of R&D, Fujitsu Invia.
