Telelogic Signs Extended License Agreement with Leading Nordic Telecom Vendor

Customer Extends Time-Based License Agreement for Telelogic Tau Development Tools for Visual Software Development and Testing

MALMO, Sweden, Dec. 10, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Stockholm:TLOG) (Other OTC:TGIAF), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a license agreement with a leading Nordic telecom vendor for its Telelogic Tau product family. Worth 643,000 Euro, the agreement is an extension of the current time-based license agreement and gives the customer access to licenses for a broad set of Telelogic Tau development and test tools during 2003, including the recently launched Tau/Developer and Tau/Tester.

Telelogic Tau/Developer was launched in October this year and represents Telelogic's new generation of development tools, based on the upcoming UML 2.0 standard for visual modeling, design and implementation. Together with Tau/Tester, launched in May this year, the new product generation offers an integrated, multi-user visual tool solution that supports and accelerates the entire application development lifecycle -- all within the same state-of-the-art, productivity-enhancing development environment.

"In these cost-cutting times for the telecom industry it is encouraging to see major players continuing to invest in, and even significantly increase their use of our tools to enhance their productivity when developing today's complex systems and software," said Anders Lidbeck, President and CEO for Telelogic. "While many of our telecom customers are using the traditional Tau products for existing projects it is very positive to see our newly presented Tau/Developer and Tau/Tester products being introduced with this important customer this soon after the launch."
