GOTHENBURG, Sweden, Dec. 11, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Nobel Biocare (Other OTC:NBCHF) (Stockholm:NOBE) has invited you to a Capital Markets Day in Gothenburg, Sweden, today. Two live operations featuring the latest achievements in dental implants will be the highlights of the day at the Nobel Biocare Training Center.
Participants will be able to witness immediate single-tooth replacement carried out with the new Replace Select products. They will also be given a glimpse of the product pipeline including live surgery featuring the "Teeth-In-An-Hour" concept.
One patient will have her damaged tooth extracted and replaced with a single Replace implant and have a crown installed in the afternoon. The other patient who is missing all his teeth in the upper jaw, will be given a full restoration and a permanent bridge during the afternoon using the "Teeth-In-An-Hour" concept.
Heliane Canepa, President and CEO, will open the day with a presentation of the goals achieved as reported in Q3 2002 and the financial targets for 2003:
Targets 2003: - Group sales target greater than 20% - Group operating income before goodwill amortization, EBITA 26-28% - Group operating income, EBIT 23-25%
Nobel Biocare will be using Euro as its reporting currency from the 2003 financial year.
