UmbrellaGirlsUSA Launches Search for Team 003

Motorsports Modeling Firm Seeks Team Members for High Profile Motorcycle and Auto-Racing Venues

SAN RAFAEL, Calif., Dec. 12, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- UmbrellaGirlsUSA has announced it will launch a nationwide talent search commencing in January in hopes of finding the ultimate UmbrellaGirlsUSA team for racing season 2003 -- or Team 003.

The UmbrellaGirls USA talent search is the result of the extraordinary popularity of the company, large pending contracts, and numerous appearance requests from around the United States.

UmbrellaGirls are the dynamic, beautiful young women who serve as trophy girls, grid girls, specialty hostesses, and otherwise assist racing teams in the pits and on the track at auto and motorcycle races.

"We're looking for gals who are attractive and athletic, but are also knowledgeable about motor-sports, and can represent various types of organizations in a completely professional and approachable manner," says Ann Asiano, founder of UmbrellaGirlsUSA. "Also multi-lingual women are especially encouraged as we want to accommodate the increasingly international atmosphere of motor-sports as much as possible."

100 winning UmbrellaGirls will be selected for the final Team 003. These winners will be chosen from a group of finalists culled from the total contestant pool and called for personal interview and try-out with a judging panel. Interviews are tentatively scheduled in Indianapolis the week of Feb 10-17; Ohio (TBA); Daytona Beach, FL March 3-10, 2003; Chicago, Milwaukee, and Dallas (TBA). Official judging panel to be announced ASAP.

Applicants should submit a recent photo, vital statistics, brief description of why they would like to be an UmbrellaGirlUSA and detail current and past employment. Applications can be submitted online via the UmbrellaGirlsUSA website (www.umbrellagirlsusa.com) or via mail to PO Box 6743, San Rafael, CA 94903. Winners will be announced late March 2003. For complete details please see the UmbrellaGirlsUSA website.

"Being an UmbrellaGirl is really fun and it offers unique exposure to motor sports athletes and fans alike," says UmbrellaGirl USA Natalie Jackson of her work with the organization. "It's also a great way to supplement the income from my job during the week and educate people about motor-sports."
