Sex, Love and Marriage -- New Book Reveals What's on a Man's Mind?

INDIANAPOLIS, Dec. 18, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Carl Nixon lays bare his deepest thoughts and hard-hitting insights on life, love, marriage, parenting, relationships, and more, in his personal book called "Male'in It" (now available through 1stBooks Library). This witty and humorous collection of essays and stories covers everything from social issues to intimate details on sex, love, and relationships.

Written from the point of view of a bachelor, "Male'in It" talks about issues that the author finds offensive such as cheating and lying. An excerpt from an essay entitled "Cheating" sums up Nixon's belief on true love. "If my sex life is suffering and I find myself in a tempted setting with a female I'm attracted to I could get weak and give in if she presents sexual advances, that's why for me it's important to be able to stay away from any circumstances I can't control, and if I truly love the woman I'm with I'll avoid these situations at all cost," Nixon writes.

Honest and thought provoking, "Male'in It" also delves on subjects that only a handful of males dared to talk about -- marriage and commitment. Nixon believes that a pressured marriage brings nothing but arguments, infidelity, and sometimes, hate. That's why at 33, Nixon is still single and patiently waiting for the right girl to come by. "Male'in It" is not strictly for men, but also for women who want to know what's on a man's mind when it comes to personal and sensitive issues.

Author Carl Nixon was born in Detroit, Mich., but has lived in Indiana for eight years. His hobbies include basketball, writing, producing music, exercising, and watching movies. He has written three screenplays, two book manuscripts, and has composed over fifty songs. He is currently working with a few local recording artists and hopes to seal a major recording contract in the near future.
