STOCKHOLM, Sweden, Dec. 20, 2002 (PRIMEZONE) -- Thalamus Operations AB (Other OTC:AVVBF) (Stockholm:THALb) has today concluded an exclusive agreement with Stadsnat i Orebro AB for assuming the role of communications operator in Orebro for a period of eight years. The value of the agreement may amount to as much as MSEK 152 over the term of the agreement. The City of Orebro has a population of 125 000 and is now demonstrating that it is at the cutting edge of IT infrastructure for its citizens.
With this transaction Thalamus takes a serious step into the open Metropolitan Area Network market, which is precisely what was held in prospect in the most recent quarterly report.
