Global Assets & Services, Inc. Teaming Partner GeoSystems Signs with ARINC Engineering Services, LLC to Market Focus Systems Chaos Theory C4 Encryption Software

TAMPA, Fla., Jan. 8, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Global Assets & Services, Inc. (OTCBB:GAST) today announced that ARINC Engineering Services, LLC of Annapolis, MD has signed a non-exclusive contract with Global's teaming partner, GeoSystems, Inc. to market Focus Systems C4 encryption software with chaos theory technology.

Under the contract, ARINC is licensed to distribute Focus Systems C4 software products to a range of end users in the national defense sector and other markets.

ARINC serves a range of network customers in government, transportation, aviation and other industries with mission-critical infrastructure. The C4 software suite can provide such end-users with highly secure connectivity across public or private networks including the Internet, wireless and cellular networks. The choice of encryption levels allows C4 technology to scale to match changing needs of users for years into the future, and across the entire information transmission and storage arena.

"This is a great example of the power of our Omnibus contract, which streamlines the marketing of C4 software to vertical markets through industry leaders, allowing them to use existing relationships, reputations and sales forces to distribute C4 software to end users," said Bert Cutler, Global Assets & Services President.

About C4 Encryption Security Software

The Focus System's C4 product suite delivers world-class encryption protection and speed with selectable 8-bit to 65,536-bit encryption. This is more advanced than technology based on 128-bit encryption which is generally available. The C4 architecture adds another level of security with chaotic signal technology, and a key of variable length, allowing primary and secondary encryption speeds at an average of 480 megabits per second, depending on hardware platform. In addition to its high speed, C4 technology has JAVA compatibility which enables it to be used on multiple operating platforms including IBM mainframes, Windows(r) 95 through XP, Unix, Linux, Windows CE and Palm operating systems. This open systems approach and high speed translate to wide application in broadband networks.
