`Coming Apart At The Seams' -- The ungodly truth about collegiate Greek organizations revealed in new book

RALEIGH, N.C., January 16, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- In 1996, the Holy Spirit commanded Fred Hatchett to write "Coming Apart At The Seams: Biblically Unraveling the Evils of Greek Fraternities and Sororities" (now available through 1stBooks Library) about the spiritual evils of Greek-lettered organizations.

According to Hatchett, the undertaking was without fear of persecution or even death. The whole purpose of this book is soul winning. With over 300 Scripture references, "Coming Apart at the Seams" will arm the Christian for combat against these and other ungodly, secret societies. Those who do not know much about Greek-lettered organizations will get an uncut look at them from someone who has been on the inside. It is no denying that they do good works, but it's with a heavy spiritual price.

"This is a book desperately needed on college campuses and in high schools," says Hatchett. "It is also a must-read for parents. Christians need this witnessing tool to keep their brothers and sisters from falling into the deceptive hands of Greek-lettered organizations. All clergy and Church leadership need this book to provide clear answers to those who look to them for guidance concerning Greek organizations."

Minister Fred Hatchett was born May 1, 1966 in New York. He is the husband of Jarrette Hatchett, and father of three sons, Terrod, Lamar and Terrance.

Fred was born again on December 24, 1993. Minister Hatchett has Bachelor's degrees in Zoology and Chemistry from North Carolina State University. He also has a Bachelor's degree in Theology from Hosanna Bible College at Mount Zion Christian Church in Durham, North Carolina. Minister Hatchett is also a member and licensed minister at Mount Zion Christian Church. His Pastor is Apostle Donald Q. Fozard, Sr.

Minister Hatchett is a former five-year member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and former 32-degree Mason. He denounced the Masonic Order approximately one year after initiation. After denouncing Omega Psi Phi in April 1995, Fred received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues later that year. Minister Hatchett has spoken at several college campuses witnessing the truth to Christians about Greek-lettered organizations.
