`In Search of Neva' -- New Novel Reveals Love, Redemption and Greed in a World Gone Astray

AVON, Ohio, Jan. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Science can be pretty close to science fiction and fantasy sometimes, rather like the cloning science of today's world. The science fiction fantasy thriller "In Search of Neva," (now available through 1stBooks Library) by S. Alan Schweitzer will intrigue readers with its parallel worlds and its novel science. In this book, experiments have changed and distorted the social business and political fabric of life.

The novel involves several characters who are involved with two major science experiments; namely, cloning and the discovery of a parallel world structure. The plot becomes increasingly mysterious as well as sinister in its determination of the fate of its characters.

"In Search of Neva" takes place in the not too distant future. The two protagonists, Eric and Rick Styles are men who inhabit parallel worlds but do not actually come in contact with each other. However, each one harbors one principal, uncompromising mission: that of locating and consummating their respective, parallel love for the enigmatic and beautiful Neva Bryant. Both discover, however, that the two "Nevas" who inhabit their respective worlds are quite different in character.

Eric and Rick discover that Neva is affiliated with a mysterious company which is involved in the dual projects of cloning human specimens and of accessing multiple worlds in space and time. The effects of this project prove to be negative and devastating for all involved in the project. "Just are we selling?" asks Erik who is the company's public relations representative. The reader will find out in this magical novel.
