Merry Frustration's `Alcohol for the Irritated Women's Nerves: The Fight to be a Mother' now Available

CLARK'S SUMMIT, Penn., Jan. 20, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- What is it really like to be a woman today? A wife? A mother? All of the above? Ask these questions and the answers are likely to vary a great deal -- from the playful to the passionate, from the aggravated to the downright amusing. Author Merry Frustration offers original, insightful analysis in her new book "Alcohol for the Irritated Women's Nerves: The Fight to be a Mother" (now available from 1stBooks Library).

"Alcohol for the Irritated Women's Nerves: The Fight to be a Mother" is a refreshing look at the silent battles women face on a day-to-day basis. From equal opportunity to motherhood, from mother-in-laws to family expectations, this book supplies a healthy dose of comic relief from the paradoxes that continually confront the lives of women.

See the world from a woman's perspective, through rose-colored glasses with a few cracks in the lenses. Experience funny, but poignant battles with the FBI, childhood cancer, and family matters. Identify with Merry as she tackles home, work and play armed only with an agile mind, a caring heart, and a wry sense of humor.

Author Merry Frustration is no stranger to the world about which she writes so well. Having earned a master's degree in educational administration, Merry accepted an invitation to the FBI Academy to train as a special agent. While serving with the FBI's Little Rock division, Merry received a second master's degree and worked as the fitness coordinator and drug demand reduction coordinator for her office.

She is the author of an education curriculum for girls "It's Our World Too!" and was featured in Mara Leveritt's best-seller "The Boys on the Tracks." Merry currently resides in northeastern Pennsylvania with her husband Scott and her son Tommy.
