KUNGSBACKA, Sweden, Jan. 31, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Elanders AB (publ):
- Net turnover fell by 17% to MSEK 2071.5 (MSEK 2493.7). Adjusted for divestitures the decrease in turnover was 5%.
- Pre-tax profits amounted to MSEK -369.5 (MSEK 0.3) after one-off expenses of MSEK 292.0 (SEK 0).
- Cash flow amounted to MSEK 96 (MSEK -140).
- Magazine and advertisement printing plants in Oslo, Helsingborg and Landskrona were divested during the fourth quarter -- according to concentration action plan.
- Operations in Stockholm were adjusted in the fourth quarter.
- The board of directors proposes to the Annual General Meeting that no dividend should be distributed for the financial year (SEK 1 per share).
- The forecast for 2003 remains the same and entails a pre-tax profit of approximately MSEK 50 and a continued positive cash flow.
