What's In Your Head? New author shows that cleaning out the cobwebs finds the truth underneath

CENTERVILLE, Ohio, Feb. 5, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Beautiful and serene. This is how love is often depicted. Love on the big screen teaches society that affection is always returned, the guy always gets his girl and, although movie characters sometimes get burned, things almost always work out in the final scene. Well, what about those who live in the real world? Even those who have found true love know that it isn't rose petals and daisies all the time. Author and poet, Daniel J. Moon, exposes the other side of love in his newly released collection of poems entitled Haunted Attics: What's in Your Head? (now available through 1stBooks Library).

Haunted Attics explores love and relationships from a down to earth, honest angle. Targeted toward teens and young adults, the book allows reader to relate to his words, especially since he's "been there." Moon also explains that along with the wondrous joys and passions of love come pain, heartbreak and regret.

Love can be great, but "it does not just fall into your lap," Moon notes. He adds that love and relationships require hard work and determination. "You have to get up and go after it," he adds.

A first time author, Moon notes five significant facets of love and life in Haunted Attics. Moon includes his life experiences that led to the book's creation, a reminder the love is not really like the movies, the honesty and sincerity behind his words, the ease in which one relates to his words, and the heartfelt words themselves.

Moon is a current resident of Centerville, Ohio. He has extensive traveling experience and therefore, has seen and accomplished much. He stresses that his writing comes straight from the heart and notes that truth is healing. Moon adds that he feels there needs to be more emphasis on the "other side of love."
