Examining Our Way Of Thinking -- Author examines lack of change in man's way of thinking

FORT COLLINS, Colo., February 5, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- How do you define sex, religion, and ecology? Are these subjects important to truly understand man's way of thinking, attitude, and understanding? Author Claud Martin attempts to provide answers to these questions in his provocative book The Catalysts (now available through 1stBooks Library).

A product of extensive research, The Catalysts explains concepts about ecology, religion, and sex - three factors that Martin believes hold the key to man's harmonious relationship with nature, fellowmen, and the divine force that created all things. Martin explains that due to a lack of true understanding of religion and sex, man is prone to commit abuses and believe in false teachings.

Martin further elaborates that environmental abuse results in natural calamities that could lead to man's extinction. "I observed that the lack of true understanding regarding religion and sex were causing us most of our troubles. I chose the ecology because all the information I have acquired tell that our abuse of the earth will probably create our extinction from this planet if we continue our disregard," Martin warns.

The Catalysts is a scholarly approach to understanding man's physical world and spiritual being. However, Martin adds that in order to digest his groundbreaking theories readers must be ready for change. Martin echoes Albert Einstein's argument, which states that all things in the universe are in constant change, except man's way of thinking.

"I fully realized how difficult it is for us to change our way of thinking once thought becomes embedded in our mind, I further realized that I am incapable of changing the world thought on any subject. I am only attempting to drop these catalysts of thought into the stagnant and polluted waters of conventional thinking hoping to create a few ripples."

Author Claud Martin was privileged to have had a happy, carefree, and uninhibited childhood. From age five, Martin started collecting "scraps of information" for his books. When the WWII broke out, Martin served in the Navy, and soon after, returned to civilian life and resumed his research and observations about life in general.
