BOYNTON BEACH, Fla., Feb. 6, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Jacobson Resonance Enterprises, Inc., (OTCBB:JRSE) announced today that the company's Board of Directors has appointed Harvey Grossman President & Chief Operating Officer.
One of the founders of JRSE, Grossman also previously served the Company in the mid nineteen-nineties as an executive consultant. Since May 2001, Grossman has held the position of Senior Vice President at JRSE.
Grossman stated, "I am committed to guiding JRSE into profitability by reinforcing our marketing efforts already begun by our licensees in Europe and Canada, and focusing our technology into select arenas that are ripe for commercialization. I am also very intent on continuing our efforts to build a world-class management team and expand our Board of Directors."
Discussing Grossman's appointment, JRSE's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Jerry I. Harvey Grossman has been an executive consultant in the for-profit and not-for-profit arenas since 1976. Over the years, he has acquired a unique ability to connect science and technology with commercial opportunities. His background in science and technology includes the position of Executive Director for the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science (Israel's preeminent basic science research institute), Palm Beach County, Florida region. (1989-1994). From 1982-1986 he was the first Campaign Director at the South Palm Beach County Jewish Federation in Boca Raton, Florida during an era when this Federation was the fastest growing in the USA. In both cases, Grossman guided two fledgling regions into multi-million dollar fund-raising campaigns. Grossman holds a degree in Psychology from Tel Aviv University, Israel, where he lived, practiced and taught at the University for eight years from 1968 to 1976.
