NEW YORK, Feb. 13, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Notice is hereby given that a securities class action lawsuit was filed in the United States District Court for the Northern District of California on behalf of purchasers of Monterey Pasta Company ("Monterey Pasta" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:PSTA) common stock (the "Class") between July 11, 2002 and December 16, 2002, inclusive (the "Class Period").
