TCRI Subsidiary, Visual Intelligence Systems, Inc., Completes Client Tests

HOUSTON, Feb. 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Texas Commercial Resources, Inc. (Pink Sheets:TCRI) today reported that its Visual Intelligence Systems subsidiary, over the past 60 days, has flown multiple test projects for several potential new clients. Visual Intelligence Systems provides state of the art airborne remote sensing for such clients in the government, energy, transportation, environmental, and land management sectors.

"We believe that Visual Intelligence has proven its worth in its data gathering capabilities, and can easily expand its revenue contribution to TCRI over the coming 12 months," said TCRI Vice President Britt Brooks. "We're currently only running at 20% of capacity, and therefore should be able to expand quickly as new projects are won."

Visual Intelligence is able to deliver 1/4-meter resolution, and sub-meter accuracy in latitude and longitude anywhere on its images. Additionally, it can deliver elevation models that are accurate to six inches. Output can be on two-foot contours featuring a bald-earth digital elevation model. The company can begin delivering data within a day or two and routinely delivers projects up to 1,000 square miles in 30 days.

For example, Brooks said, Visual as part of its testing patterns has developed high-resolution photos, orthorectified geospacial data, and other related information covering much of the Houston area. In addition, he noted, "We have nearly all of Galveston County on hand now."

Robert Bitterli, Visual's CEO, stated, "Most companies are skeptical, at first, that we can actually deliver the resolution and accuracy we promise, especially in the time that we promise. So they put us to the test. What they find is that we not only deliver what we promise, when we promise it, but that our all-digital color process allows for a malleability of data not available in traditional film or in the digitized process. This allows our clients to do a much more thorough analysis of their assets."

"All clients, for whom we have conducted pilot projects," said Bitterli, "have come back to us asking us to provide a detailed plan for engineering and security grade mapping of all of their assets."

"The other ingredient in which our clients find comfort is that all of their data is processed at Visual Intelligence's offices in Houston, and not subcontracted out to China, India or other parts of the world. Pipeline and engineering companies especially are sensitive to where their data is processed for obvious security reasons," noted Brad Perry, Visual's Executive Vice President.

Mr. Perry further added: "As a measure of the increase in demand for our services, since January 1, 2003, we have bid on over $18 million worth of projects compared with $2.3 million for the same period in 2002."
