GOTEBORG, Sweden, March 11, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Volvo AB's (Nasdaq:VOLVY) Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday, April 9, 2003 at Lisebergshallen in Goteborg starting 2 p.m. The entrance to Liseberg will open at 10 a.m for our shareholders. A seminar, "Commercial vehicles and transports -- a trade with growth" will be held in Lisebergshallen.
Volvo will not arrange any press conference in connection with the Meeting, but the Board of Directors of Volvo will be available to answer questions from the media after the Meeting.
There will be a pressroom nearby the Meeting hall.
