Telelogic Announces Alliance with SAIC

MALMO, Sweden and IRVINE, Calif., March 18, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Telelogic (Other OTC:TGIAF) (Stockholm:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it had signed an agreement with Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to jointly pursue new clients and new business prospects of the San Diego-based research and engineering firm with Telelogic DOORS(R) and other Telelogic Application Lifecycle Management tools.

SAIC is a key source for leading-edge technologies for a broad range of clients, both government and commercial. It also is an active user of Telelogic products and currently supports a number of customers with Telelogic software. Under the new Telelogic Alliance Partner Program agreement, SAIC can leverage the current use of Telelogic tools throughout the organization by providing access to a formal program and exploring business development opportunities with new customers on a global basis.

"Telelogic has become a technology leader by providing the industry's most innovative and effective tools and services," said Anders Lidbeck, president and CEO at Telelogic. "In our effort to bring greater efficiency to advanced systems and software development, we are constantly looking for unique and value-added relationships that allow us to expand our markets and reach new customers. This alliance with SAIC allows us to do both and we're extremely pleased to be entering into such an agreement with an international consulting firm of this stature."

SAIC can identify and recommend Telelogic products for client applications that can benefit from Telelogic technology.

"This alliance formalizes an already successful relationship, as Telelogic and SAIC have worked together for many years in the government market," said Roger Menzel, chief engineer for SAIC's Technology Applications Group. "The number of our clients that utilize Telelogic products has increased, and this new agreement allows us to continue providing them with added value service."

"SAIC's information systems and technology solutions help speed and improve service delivery and give decision makers better information by providing access to best in breed technologies developed by a host of organizations worldwide," said Scott Raskin, president of Telelogic Americas and Asia/Pacific. "We're very proud to have Telelogic products recognized by a world-class consulting organization that brings more than three decades of experience in making new technologies succeed in real-world, real-time business."

Under the terms of the new agreement, SAIC can create specialized analyst contacts in vertical markets that can take advantage of positioning DOORS and other Telelogic products within their customer base. While the majority of current SAIC relationships with Telelogic are within the government practices area, such as Homeland Security, future focus can be based upon overall client need and the ability to benefit from Telelogic solutions. Early expansion into new areas is anticipated in markets such as Biomedical, Energy and Healthcare.
