Altair Nanotechnologies to Hold an Open House at Its Corporate Headquarters in Reno, Nevada

Shareholders, Investors and others with an Interest in Altair's Proprietary Nanotechnology are Invited


RENO, Nev., March 25, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (Nasdaq:ALTI) announced that it will hold an open house for shareholders, investors and others with an interest in Altair's proprietary technology. The open house will be held at Altair's corporate headquarters located at 204 Edison Way, Reno, Nevada, on Friday, April 11, 2003, at 1:30 p.m.

Attendees are invited to tour the 39,000 square foot state-of-the art nanotechnology manufacturing facility and meet with members of the management team. Altair Nanotechnologies President Dr. Rudi Moerck will be presenting an overview of the company, its nanomaterials, pigment and nano-based pharmaceutical products. After the presentation, management will entertain questions from the attendees. The question and answer session will be followed by a dinner hosted by the company.

The data confirms Altair's in vitro findings that RenaZorb binds phosphate. The company expects to complete analysis of the data within the next two weeks.
