Software to Modernize Homeland Security Investigations; Urgent Capability Applicable to all Levels of Law Enforcement

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 27, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Software developer, IRP Solutions, Corp., has developed a software application that will change the way Homeland Security investigations occur throughout all levels of law enforcement. Homeland Security investigations require a new and urgent capability needed by law enforcement to identify, track and investigate individuals and groups that pose a threat to the security of the United States.

Current investigations of this nature are often inefficient, slow and costly. Most of the work pertaining to these investigations is paper-based and the debacle factor is high due to the large numbers of investigators working on a case from different jurisdictions and areas of law enforcement. This software promises to revolutionize the protocol and overall effectiveness of large-scale investigations.

The software application, which is called Case Investigative Life Cycle (CILC)(r) will change the way these security investigations occur by arming law enforcement with a powerful and highly organized information gathering and sharing tool. This software will create a platform where the investigation manager can supervise previously overwhelming amounts of information and resources with extreme accuracy and efficiency.

"Homeland Security is a major concern in our country today and I'm proud that our company has developed a software that will enhance our nation's capabilities to effectively conduct investigations critical to the Homeland Security process," comments Gary Walker, IRP Solutions Corp President.

"We're very excited about launching the CILC(r) software because it is a working component of a new philosophy we have developed called Computerized Criminal Investigative Process or CCIP," explained Walker. "The criminal investigative process has never been computerized in a holistic fashion, and law enforcement professionals from many agencies will now have a capability never before available to them. Many of them have already responded with enthusiasm about the key features of this software."

The CILC(r) software has an open architecture, allowing it to interface with integrated justice information systems and other outside information sources. Its capabilities include subject profiling, pattern matching, GIS location histogram of crimes, and other analytical uses relating to homeland security. Additional benefits to using the software include: it will save valuable time, human resources, and money for the agencies while minimizing case debacles. The software promises to be highly effective in elaborate cases that require the cooperation of a multi-jurisdictional investigative force by allowing data to be gathered and shared by unlimited numbers of law enforcement in real time.

IRP Solutions, Corp.'s core business areas include software applications to address criminal investigation processes, civil investigations, and administrative investigations across all industry categories including government and private sector. IRP Solutions is based in Colorado Springs, Colorado. IRP Solutions is a privately held corporation.
