HOGANAS, Sweden, April 2, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- As a result of the acquisition of SCM Metal Products, Inc., USA, announced yesterday, the Board of Directors of Hoganas AB has decided to refrain from submitting the earlier announced proposal regarding buy back of Hoganas shares to the Annual General Meeting in May 2003.
