Development Environment for Aerospace Contractor
Telelogic (Other OTC:TGIAF) (Stockholm:TLOG), the leading global provider of solutions for advanced systems and software development, today announced that it has signed a multi-product, multi-line contract worth US $426,400 with a leading global engineering and manufacturing company based in the United States.
Telelogic's best-in-class software tools will be used at multiple sites in the U.S. for sustaining engineering and modernization of aerospace systems navigation and tracking systems and related technology for defense projects.
After a competitive review, the company chose Telelogic's full line of integrated requirements-driven tools that support all phases of the lifecycle. This includes requirements management, analysis-modeling- design, configuration management, software development and software testing. The customer's goal is to enhance visibility, collaboration and validation while improving time lines and reducing costs.
After a competitive evaluation, Telelogic was chosen based on its ability to provide best-in-class and tightly integrated tools that included task-based change management and unmatched support for distributed development teams, as well as the simulation, validation and testing capabilities found only in Tau Generation2. The ability to prove there was no dead code and demonstrate what percentage of code had been tested -- and what remained to be tested -- was a competitive differentiation.
The contract includes product license, training and consulting services for Telelogic Tau/Architect(TM), Tau/Developer(TM), Tau/Tester(TM), CM Synergy(TM) with ActiveCM(TM) and DCM (Distributed Change Management), ChangeSynergy(TM), DocExpress and Logiscope(TM) (Ada, C and Java). These tools will enhance the previous investment in Telelogic DOORS.
