Pia Gideon Nominated to Observer's Board of Directors


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 4, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Observer's (Other OTC:OBSEF) nominating group is proposing the election of Pia Gideon, Vice President External Relations at Ericsson, to the company's Board of Directors at this spring's Annual General Meeting. Pia Gideon, who has global responsibility for external contacts for the Ericsson Group, has previously worked as a PR consultant, business journalist and financial analyst.

Observer is a world leader in media and market monitoring, communication support and communication evaluation, with operations in Europe and North America. According to the nominating group, the election of Pia Gideon will provide Observer's Board with valuable experience in international communication work and PR.

In addition to the election of Pia Gideon as a new Board Member, current Board Members Orjan Hakanson, Maria Lilja, Ulf Ivarsson, Hakan Bryngelson and Robert Lundberg have been nominated for reelection. Hans Tson Soderstrom has declined reelection. The proposal has the support of shareholders representing more than 30 percent of the votes in the company.

Observer's Annual General Meeting will be held at 5 p.m. (CET) on May 6, 2003 at Ingenjorshuset/Citykonferensen, Malmskillnadsgatan 46, Stockholm.
