Interliant Announces New Monitoring and Management System

Interliant Onsight Gives Customers Comprehensive Monitoring and Flexible Control of their Hosted Solutions

PURCHASE, N.Y., April 8, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Interliant, Inc. (OTCBB:INIT) today announced the immediate availability of Interliant Onsight(tm), a new monitoring and management tool that gives its customers an unprecedented level of control of the monitoring and performance of their hosted solutions.

"We built Interliant Onsight to provide our customers with information they need from their hosted solutions that is just not available with other monitoring tools," said Francis J. Alfano, Interliant's president and CEO. "With Interliant Onsight, our customers have immediate Web-based access to an enormous range of information about their hosted solutions. They can access reports for a single server or their entire solution, and even customize how and when they are notified of specific performance conditions. We believe that this functionality, flexibility, and breadth of reporting tools is unique among monitoring systems."

Through Interliant Onsight's intuitive Web-based interface, Interliant customers can access continuously-updated reports on more than 20 different server statistics, bandwidth usage, tape backup, centralized server logs, event notification, and account management. Server statistics include CPU utilization, physical memory usage, disk and network I/O usage, a comprehensive list of installed software and patches, and more. Historical server data is saved for ninety days, enabling users to observe long-term trends.

Interliant Onsight also allows customers to customize the system to their own organizational needs by creating sub-accounts with specific permissions. For example, a system administrator can delegate certain management functions and reports to specific employees, while retaining system-wide access for senior staff. "This kind of flexibility isn't available in most monitoring tools," Alfano said. "We believe this offers Interliant customers the unique ability to design their system management according to their business needs."

One of the Interliant customers benefiting from the Interliant Onsight service is HRSoft, LLC, a global leader in talent management solutions based in Morristown, New Jersey. "As a customer of Interliant's managed hosting services, Interliant Onsight allows us to monitor events on all of our hosted servers. Its intuitive interface, content, and functions provide an in-depth platform to track CPU, memory, disk, and bandwidth. Additionally, we configure Interliant Onsight to send notification alerts to email addresses or pagers based on defined event thresholds. With an average uptime of 99.98% in 2002, our clients are well served with our relationship with Interliant's hosting services," noted Dick Tonnemacher, co-CEO and chief technology officer of HRSoft, LLC.

Interliant Onsight is available now to Interliant's managed hosting customers. For a demonstration or configuration and pricing information, please contact Interliant.
