Election of Members of the Board of Directors, etc. of Precise Biometrics AB (publ)


LUND, Sweden, April 10, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Shareholders jointly representing approximately 40 percent of all the votes in Precise Biometrics AB (publ) (Other OTC:PBMTF) have informed the Company that they, on the Annual General Meeting on 23 April 2003, intend to make the following proposals regarding election of Directors and Chairman of the Board and regarding fees to the Board of Directors.

The number of Directors of the Board is proposed to be five. No deputy directors shall be elected. The above shareholders propose re-election of the board members Nils Bernhard, Christer Fahraeus, Lars Gronberg and Henrik Holm. New election of Goran Jansson is proposed, while the board members Christer Lindberg and Nils Sandstedt have declined re-election. Lars Gronberg is proposed to be elected Chairman of the Board.

Fees to the Board of Directors shall amount to a total of SEK 450,000, to be distributed among the Directors according to the resolution by the Board of Directors.

Goran Jansson (born in 1958), Stockholm, is the CFO and the Executive Vice President of the ASSA ABLOY Group, where he has worked since 1997. Goran Jansson has previously held the position of CFO of Investment AB Kinnevik and has worked as authorized public accountant at Ohrlings PricewaterhouseCoopers.

The above shareholders' motive for proposing new election of Goran Jansson is to strengthen the Board of Director's of Precise Biometrics AB competence with knowledge and experience from the security industry.
