Witnet Signs Agreement to Sell Mobilick Solution On New Paron Handheld Computer; `Paron is CDL and IBM Collaboration'


TORONTO, April 22, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Witnet International, Inc. (OTCBB:WTNT) announced today that the company has signed an agreement to offer its Mobilick software as a solution on new pervasive computing device from Consumer Direct Link Inc. (CDL) known as the "Paron".

The Paron is the world's first handheld wireless device with built-in biometric user authentication with a high-speed encryption chip. The Paron is designed for the high security requirements of government, police, military, financial and commercial applications as well as everyday consumers.

The Paron is the result of collaboration between CDL and IBM Engineering and Technology Services Group.

Mobilick will sell for forty dollars ($40) per user license and will be marketed as a special feature available on the Paron.

Mobilick will provide enablement of Paron users' wireless access to their desktop files quickly and easily in a very secure infrastructure; real time.

The Paron combines the functions of a PDA, Bluetooth wireless access, GSM cellular telephone, and biometric fingerprint recognition, along with a security-oriented hardware/software architecture.

Mobilick complements IBM WebsPhere software solutions available on the Paron, which runs on the Linux operating system.
