Gunnebo Interim Report January -- March 2003


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, April 29, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Gunnebo:

The Group's order intake increased by 5 per cent to MSEK 1,827 (1,748). Organic growth amounted to 6 per cent.

Gunnebo Security's order intake increased by 6 per cent. Organic growth amounted to 7 per cent.

The Group's invoiced sales amounted to MSEK 1,640 (1,603), an increase of 2 per cent. Organic growth amounted to 2 per cent.

The profit after financial items, which is always low for the first quarter, increased to MSEK 22 (10).

Gunnebo Security reports a further improvement in its operating profit before depreciation of goodwill and increased the result of 16 per cent to MSEK 51 (44).

Gunnebo Engineering's operating profit before depreciation of goodwill amounted to MSEK 14 (13).

For the 2003 financial year, the profit after financial items is expected to be significantly better than the profit for 2002.
