Vodafone Partner Operators Offer Full MMS Interworking Across the Nordic Region


STOCKHOLM, Sweden, May 12, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Vodafone Sweden (NYSE:VOD), Oy Radiolinja Ab and TDC Mobil A/S have launched MMS interworking between the three countries. This will allow the customers of the three operators to send messages consisting of pictures, text and voice (MMS) across each others networks.

Customers of Vodafone (Sweden), Radiolinja (Finland) and TDC Mobil (Denmark) can now send picture and voice messages, also known as MMS (Multimedia Messaging Service) messages across the Vodafone partner operators in the three Nordic countries Sweden, Denmark and Finland.

As a result of the close co-operation between the three mobile operators, customers of Vodafone (Sweden), Radiolinja (Finland) & TDC Mobil (Denmark) are among the first in the world that can send MMS messages across each others networks.
