Returning to the Great Plaza; Summer Season of Penn's Landing is Announced with Highlights of 18th Annual Jam on the River, New Attractions, Summer Concerts and Festivals

 When:        Wednesday, May 14, 2003
              11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

              The Main Stage
              Columbus Boulevard and Walnut Street
              Philadelphia, PA

 What:        Press Announcement of the 2003 Summer Season of Penn's
              Landing with two locations this summer -- Great Plaza
              and Festival Pier. Joining Mr. Dominic Sabatini,
              president of Penn's Landing, is City Commerce Director
              James Cuorato, City Councilman Frank DiCicco, State
              Representative Marie Lederer and many other City
              Officials. Larry Magid, of Clear Channel Entertainment,
              Meryl Levitz of the Greater Philadelphia Tourism
              Marketing Corporation and others talking about the
              expansion of activities on the Philadelphia Waterfront.

              Highlighting the music, Alligator Zydeco and Arpeggio
              will perform.

              Highlighting the food, there will be a taste of the
              waterfront with food from the Moshulu, Chart House,
              Cavanaugh's River Deck and Rock Lobster.

              Highlighting the PECO Energy Multi-Cultural Festivals
              will be individuals in ceremonial dress representing
              Russia, Mexico, India and Hispanic countries.

 Background:  It's the year of the 18th Annual JAM on the River,
              which returns to the Great Plaza, with the sweeping
              views of the Delaware River and popular festivals
              taking place all summer long. Clear Channel
              Entertainment announces a new partnership with
              Penn's Landing Corporation including a concert series
              at Festival Pier

              Many new attractions and restaurants are being
              introduced this summer on the waterfront -- Ride the
              Ducks (finally) comes to Philadelphia, the Moshulu
              re-opens on the Penn's Landing Marina, and Cavanaugh's
              River Deck (formerly Katmandu) opens.
