Hot Restaurants and New Food Added to Culinary Line Up at Jam on the River in 2003


PHILADELPHIA, May 14, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Not only is there great news about the fantastic talent at JAM on the River 2003, there are many new restaurants joining the excitement at the Great Plaza on the Philadelphia Waterfront for the Memorial Day Weekend festivities -- May 24 through May 26. Such well-known restaurants as Cuba Libre in Old City, Warm Daddy's, Bourbon Blue in Manayunk, New Orleans Cafe in Media, Savannah's in Philadelphia, CasBar Gourmet Meals and Bubble Tea House.

Mouth-watering menu highlights from these restaurants include the ever-popular Mohitos from Cuba Libre, Blackened Chicken Sandwich with Tasso Ham and Sharp Provolone from New Orleans Cafe in Media, and Fried Chicken with Waffles and Syrup and Meatloaf Sandwiches from Savannah Soul Food Restaurant in Philadelphia. Chicken Fajitas and Caesar Salad from CasBar Gourmet Foods in Marlton New Jersy, and Chicken Caesar Salad Wraps from Cavanaugh's River Deck. Alligator Quesidillas and Rum Battered Fried Bananas from Bourbon Blue in Manayunk will also be featured during the festival.

Added to these great restaurants are favorite festival foods like barbeque ribs, crab cakes, mahi-mahi, jambalaya, hot roast beef and pork sandwiches, cheese steaks, gyros, batter-dipped veggies, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream and much more! There will be 10 beer tents, two Pina Colada Booths, four Tiki Bars featuring Captain Morgan's Spiced Rum and Parrot Bay Rum.
