Association For Women in Technology to Hold Mentorship Program Kick-Off Meeting


MEDIA ADVISORY, May 27, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Association For Women in Technology Mentorship Program:


 WHAT:  The Association for Women in Technology, Southern California 
        (AWT), a local non-profit organization dedicated to serving 
        the advancement of women and girls in all fields of 
        technology, will hold its next Mentorship Program Kick-Off 
        Meeting on June 3, 2003.  The AWT Mentorship Program is a six-
        month commitment between interested AWT members and seasoned 
        professionals who wish to share their expertise. The AWT 
        Mentorship Committee will match the skills of the mentor to 
        the goals of the mentee.  Participants must agree to meet a 
        minimum of two hours per month for six months in order to 
        achieve mutually agreed upon objectives. The relationship is 
        designed to promote the professional advancement of the 
        mentees in one of two areas: career advancement or business 
        development.  The kick-off meeting will feature guest speaker 
        Cynder Niemela, founder of High Impact Teaming, LLC and a 
        professional certified coach with Masters degrees in business 
        and psychology and more than 20 years coaching executives, 
        business, and sports teams worldwide. Anyone can be a mentor, 
        but in order to participate as a mentee, you must be an AWT
