Teleca Renews General Agreement with Leading Telecom Supplier


MALMO, Sweden, May 28, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- Teleca has renewed its general agreement with Ericsson in the areas of research and development and IS/IT. The agreement runs for 12 months and applies globally for the whole Teleca group.

"In the past year Teleca and Ericsson have made two large outsourcing agreements in France and Norway and two large outsourced R&D contracts in Germany and Ostersund," said Patrik Strandeus, Teleca's global account manager for Ericsson. "We are looking forward to continue to reinforce our collaboration and the renewed general agreement give us the possibility to increase our business with Ericsson."

Teleca works for Ericsson in several different areas including the development, integration and maintenance of 2.5/3G systems, advanced fixed-network systems, and mobile phone platforms and software. Teleca is currently working with Ericsson throughout the world on a range of projects in Europe, Asia and USA.
