BrowserPlusCorp Launches Login Manager for Automated Web Site Login Management

LAGUNA NIGUEL, Calif., June 3, 2003 (PRIMEZONE) -- BrowserPlusCorp(tm), a developer of Internet enhancement products, today announced the release of Login Manager(tm). Login Manager is the latest introduction in a line of enhancement products produced specifically for Microsoft Internet Explorer(r).

Login Manager automates the entire Web site login process. With seamless integration into Internet Explorer, Login Manager automatically enters the user name and password information that was entered the first time a user registered or logged in to a Web site.

"You no longer need to remember or look up multiple user names and passwords," commented BrowserPlusCorp President Mark Malamut. "Login Manager does it all for you. Additionally, Login Manager takes the use of favorites to a new level with Smart Bookmarks(tm)," added Malamut.

Login Manager simplifies the dilemma of trying to find a password that can't be hacked, but one that can still be easily recalled. At the user's option, Login Manager will automatically create and remember secure passwords that are virtually impossible to hack. When the site is accessed in the future, this information is automatically entered for the user. All login information is optionally protected by a single Master Password and only stored locally on the user's computer in a highly secured and encrypted database.

"Login Manager was developed with login information security as the design requirement and ease of use as the overall goal," said BrowserPlusCorp Chief Technology Officer Dave Harding. "Login Manager's security is so stringent that it meets or exceeds the needs of the most demanding customer. "Furthermore," continues Harding, "Login Manager is so easy to use that rarely do users need to read the instructions which are integrated into our extensive on-line help. Login Manager steps users through the entire process."

In addition to username and password management, Login Manager has a rich feature set. These features include Notes, which allow users to create and search on user defined notes for each page; Offline Content, which saves and manages offline copies of Web pages; Smart Bookmarks, that stores a page location along with any user entered page data; and Registration Minder, which saves and automatically carries username and password information from site registration to site login.

Login Manager Corporate Edition was designed specifically for corporate security needs. With the addition of Restricted mode, the Corporate Edition allows an administrator to create login pages that can be used by all authorized employees while preventing login passwords from ever being viewed or modified by the employee. The Administrator can set up logins to all business-to-business partners and distribute this information to all employees secure in the knowledge that access to these Web sites is limited to the computers where the Login Manager is installed, and no one but the Administrator knows the actual password. When an employee leaves the company they will not have any access to the company's business-to-business partners' Web sites.

Login Manager Personal Edition retails for $29.95 and Login Manager Corporate Edition Retails for $69.95.
